Believe it or not, I am sick and tired of politics. I suffer from a constant case of laryngitis from screaming at the foolishness clothed in high-minded political thought. I am sickened by the Republicans frank and utter diseregard for even the basic pretense of humanity, and the Democrats inability to voice a coherent thought. The lone exception is, I suppose, Alan Grayson, who is my new hero!
But, as I said, I am sick of the silliness, pettiness, and the depressing reality that this country, that I love, has been hijacked by foul blowhards (Republicans) and Spineless twerps (Democrats). For now, I give up.
I am, instead, going to write about my family, which has enough insanity to rival todays political inanity. And so, with the next post, we change course into a new direction!
